　　My research themes are the production of energy from biomass derived from primary industries and the efficient recycling of energy residues for use in agriculture that contribute to the carbon cycle. By combining chemical engineering methods such as biomass conversion, control engineering, and robotization with knowledge of smart agricultural machinery, we aim to develop technologies that will help to sustainably utilize biomass in primary industries from both an environmental and labor perspective.

　　In recent years, we have been focusing on the following themes:
(1) the simultaneous production of bio-methane and high-concentration organic liquid fertilizer from water-containing biomass, and the development of new liquid fertilizer application methods;
(2) the development and evaluation of the technology for molding organic fertilizer and bio-char such as woody power generation redidue char or rice husk charcoal;
(3) the production and biofuel processing system for herbaceous resource crops using abandoned farmland;
(4) the technology for non-destructive cell oil recovery (milking) from microalgae.
